Model with Mid-Day Calm Print
Monday, December 29, 2025
When Riley, the model I used for my fine art photo titled “Mid-Day Calm,” was told that the photo of him was posted on Facebook, Instagram and Nextdoor he quickly tracked down my contact information and requested a print. Of course I couldn't say no, and had a 12”x18” print made for him. When he picked it up I also showed him a 24-inch x 36-inch version that I’ll hopefully be showing at local art and outdoor markets later this year. His eyes widened and he was fast to show his appreciation, letting me know that the print I gave him was going to family. For anyone that likes history, this black-and-white piece takes us back to the rugged charm of the old West. Photographed at Columbia State Historic Park, with Riley leaning against the Douglass Saloon, the image embodies a calm assurance that speaks volumes. Can you imagine the stories and lively gatherings that this vintage setting has witnessed? Do you want a print? If yes, you can puchase them here.
